About Us ...

Living Faith Ministry International began when God gave Chaouki Boulos, a Lebanese-American pastor, a vision for outdoor evangelistic celebrations in Beirut as a way to share Jesus with large groups of people. He knew that Lebanon, a country with religious freedom, was the open door to reach the peoples of the Middle East.

In 1999, Chaouki shared the vision with Marion and Norm Brannon and a group of their prayer partners in North Carolina. This kind of outreach - what we would call an evangelistic crusade - had never been done in Lebanon, and the prevailing wisdom was that it wouldn't succeed. Never the less, the group believed that God was calling them to do this, and a decision was made to move forward with the project that was then called, "Lebanon 2000."

The response was overwhelmingly successful. Those who had previously been skeptical joined hands with us from all denominations, and Chaouki began to receive requests to go to other countries in the Middle East.  As the project grew beyond Lebanon, it took on the name, "Operation Antioch." Since that time, we have held celebrations in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Bahrain. Our ministry has expanded beyond single events to include vacation Bible school, sports evangelism, children's ministry, outreach to prisoners, and ministry as God opens the door on the spot.

Chaouki Boulos and his wife, Maha, grew up in Lebanon, but spent years in the U.S. as missionaries to Arabs in the Carolinas before returning to Beirut with their two teen-age boys. Chaouki is the Director of Living Faith Ministry international.
