In July 2006, I went with the group to "walk the land" for the planned ministry center for Living Faith Ministries, the first of its kind in the Middle East. When I stepped off the bus, I took a deep breath. My senses were filled with the honey-like fragrance of wild herbs growing on the mountainside, and the beauty of the white stone building, which seemed to glow in the sunshine high in the hills above Byblos.

I was reminded of the scripture in Revelation 2:17: "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it ...
