Miscellaneous Opportunities to Serve ...

Event Support (Technical) ...

As you can imagine, there are many jobs to be done in order to host a Celebration. People with technical, construction or electronic experience can help us doing everything from stringing lights to constructing the stage, setting up chairs, preparing the prayer tent, and so forth.

We handle all our own sound and lighting during the event, and we could really use help with all of that, particularly if you have experience in the field.

Altar Ministry ...

There is an altar call given during each Celebration, and many people come forward to accept Jesus or to ask for prayer. We need people with a tender heart who will put a hand on a shoulder and ask Jesus to bless someone. We have translators when that's necessary, but our volunteers get along fine with English.

Teaching or Speaking Ministry ...

Because we want to support the local congregations, members of our team visit different churches. If you can share a message or even just bring a greeting from the brothers and sisters in America, your presence will be appreciated. Additionally, if you have a gift of teaching, there is a range of opportunities from Vacation Bible School to women's meetings.

Music, Praise and Worship Ministry ...

If you sing or play an instrument, we invite you to join us for praise and worship, both at our events and informally as it occurs. Music is the universal language, and a great way to make friends.

Prayer Ministry ...

God hears our prayers, whether we're in the U.S. or in Lebanon, and He has been pleased to answer our prayers in small and dramatic ways. Each year, we have a "Jericho prayer ride," as we travel around the city for the seven days prior to the Celebration. Then we have a "prayer tent," in which believers intercede during our Celebrations for those in need of God's touch. We "prayer walk" the Celebration site several times prior to the event, and of course, pray with fellow believers in many other situations.

Sports Evangelism ...

In 2000, a sports evangelism team from Missouri went to Beirut to do a basketball camp at the same time as the Celebration. As you can imagine, it was a big hit, and now Lebanon has their own "Believers' Basketball Team." Our Missouri team has done a camp each summer, and we're seeing the lives of young people turned around. It's an exciting ministry. We invite you to join the team. You don't have to be an athlete. You just have to love the youth. Talk with Robman about their experience and how you might minister.

Construction Team ...

In May 2007, we'll be ready to begin building the White Stone Conference and Retreat Center, and we can use laborers in all trades. We especially need men experienced working with cement, as the building will be made primarily of stone taken from the property. Once the framework is in place, we'll need electricians, plumbers and other building volunteers.

Prison Ministry ...

In past years, we have gone into women's prisons to minister, and have seen women come to the Lord. The situation is dire, and they have need of personal items and someone to love them. Many have not seen a visitor in years and feel so hopeless.

Not sure where you fit ?

Not to worry. If you know the Lord and can get along with other people, we will find a spot for you. One of the things that nearly every missionary will tell you is that you go on mission with one idea, and God has other opportunities you never dreamed about. Come share the love of Jesus, and see what God is doing in the Middle East.
