Mission Trip Information Sheet ...

Join a team of committed Christians as they meet and work together in Beirut, Lebanon for a time of sharing Jesus Christ in celebration, prayer, evangelism, and worship. Various ministry opportunities will be available to those who participate.

Cost:  $2,700.00 round trip from Charlotte, NC. (Note: (price could fluctuate and prices from other US cities will vary). Price includes round trip airfare, 12 nights in a quality hotel in Beirut with breakfast each day, a one-day tour, one day of  "free time," and bottled water. We've included $700.00 to cover the cost of the mission work we will be doing. 

All fees are payable to Lebanon 2000. A deposit of 20% is required when making your reservation. Balance is due 60 days before departure.

Final deadline for reservations is May 15, 2008. However the sooner we have our names down for tickets the easier it is for seating and getting better fares.

Qualifications for Participation:

1. Personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
2. Willingness to prepare and share with others a personal testimony of your faith. 
3. Flexibility in adjusting planned schedules.
4. Willingness to deal with cultural differences.
5. Team-oriented and willing to work under supervision.
6. Willingness to use skills and gifts in activities in this project.
7. Willingness to participate in one-day training session prior to the trip.
8. Must provide your own passport and cover miscellaneous      additional expenses

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD ANTICIPATE THESE ADDITIONAL COSTS:

1. Passport (unless holding valid passport) 
    NOTE: if your passport has a visa stamp from Israel, you MUST apply for a new passport; it will NOT be accepted in Lebanon.
2. Visas may be easily obtained at the airport for a nominal fee. There is no need to purchase your Visa prior to entry into Lebanon. (In July 2005, the visa cost was $17.00)
3. Transportation to and from Charlotte, NC. (or your point of departure).
4. Recommended immunizations: up-to-date tetanus (check with physician regarding other suggested immunizations and medications)
5. Money for additional meals, shopping, etc. 

NOTE: a light lunch in Beirut will average $5 and up; dinner meals can average $10 and up.
